Snorkeling with De Palm Tours

Aruba is the island of adventure and snorkeling is an adventure you won't want to miss.  This De Palm Tour included two shallow-water sites and one deep-water site over a shipwreck.  You wouldn't believe the colorful fish down there!  Lessons for beginners.  Perfect after a night out or a day at the beach.  Friends, fins, and fun!  Highly recommended.

Aruban Nightlife

A friend once argued that nightlife was merely entertainment and not really cultural tourism.  I begged to differ.  While not for everyone, I believe that a thriving nightlife reflects the spirit of the local culture and is very important to destination competitiveness.  While most of these venues cater to tourists, locals also occasionally enjoy these amenities.  Many hard-working Arubans are employed by these restaurants, bars, hotels, and casinos--so please stop by while you are in town!

San Nicolaas Caribbean Festival

Clowning Around
If you love to travel, you also love a good street festival.  Every Thursday night there is a Caribbean Festival in downtown San Nicolaas, with food, drink, music, art, and more!  I always sample the coconut water--a little food, a little culture, and a whole lot of performance art rolled into one.
